North Point State Park - "a little slice of heaven on the Chesapeake Bay"

If you are a birdwatcher, North Point State Park is an excellent location for birdingspot. The park consists of a wide variety of habitats. Here you will find wildland and wetland areas, six miles of Chesapeake Bay shoreline, farm fields, heavy wooded areas and marshes. Where else could you expect to see a Bluebird, a Great Blue Heron, an Blue Jay and a Blue Grosbeak on the same day?

There are also several pairs of breeding Bald Eagles that make North Point State Park their home.
