Welcome anglers. North Point Sate Park has 6 miles of shoreline on the Chesapeake Bay. We have a wooden fishing pier and a concrete and grass pier that stretches 1200 feet onto the bay. You will find excellent brackish water fishing here, with an occasional freshwater fish catch.

What kind of fish can I expect to catch at North Point?
North Point is right on the Chesapeake Bay, so any fish you would find in the Bay can be caught here. Some examples: Perch (Yellow & White), Spot, Sunfish, Largemouth Bass (Uncommon), Bluefish, Striped Bass (Rockfish), Spotted Seatrout, Flounder (Uncommon), Carp, Skate, Catfish, Stingray (Rare), Black Sea Bass, Croaker and Gar.
