North Point State Park is home to a wide variety of plant, animal and aquatic life. This is due to the diversity of habitats. Here you will find wildland and wetland areas, six miles of Chesapeake Bay shoreline, farm fields, heavily wooded areas and marshes.

To aid in the management of the resources of North Point State Park. 

To make the public more aware of the activities and educational programs available in the park. 

To encourage partnerships between the private and business community with the park to further these goals.
